Which centers are open, and whether they have seats, changes with every test date. Here is how to check what is genuinely available to you in Lebanon, how to choose between centers, and what to do if there is nothing left.

SAT test centers are schools and educational organisations that have been authorised by College Board to run the exam. College Board does not operate them directly, and it does not publish a permanent list of centers for any country — because which centers open, and how many seats they offer, is decided administration by administration.
That means there is exactly one reliable way to find out what is available to you in Lebanon: check the official search for the specific date you want.
College Board's SAT Test Center Search lets you look at centers before you commit to registering. Choose your test date first, then your country. If the date you want is not in the dropdown, registration for it has not opened yet.
Seat availability is shown during registration itself, and it is the most current view you can get. You can begin registering, get as far as the test center step to see what is genuinely open, and stop before paying. Nothing is charged until you complete the process.
Availability changes constantly. A seat you can see in the search may be taken by the time you finish registering, and centers open for one date are not guaranteed to open for the next. Treat anything you read about Lebanese test centers — here or anywhere else — as a starting point, and confirm against the official search for your date.
When more than one center has seats, students usually pick the closest one and move on. A few other things are worth weighing.
You need to arrive early, alert, and unhurried, carrying a charged laptop or tablet. A center thirty minutes further away that you can reach calmly beats a closer one that involves a stressful morning.
If your own school is an authorised center and has seats, that is usually the easiest option available to you. Familiar building, familiar route, no surprises about where to park or which entrance to use.
Power outlets, Wi-Fi reliability and where you wait before testing vary between centers, and none of it appears in the search results. If you have a choice between two unfamiliar centers, contacting them directly is not overkill.
Every point above is only useful while seats remain. Students who register in the final week are not choosing a center — they are accepting the one nobody else wanted, and sometimes there is not one at all. Book as soon as registration opens for your test date.
Some centers worldwide charge a $24 test center fee on top of the registration and international fees. College Board publishes the list of centers that do, and for the August 2026 to June 2027 period that list covers centers in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan — no centers in Lebanon appear on it.

Also check College Board's test center closings page before test day. Centers occasionally close at short notice, and it is better to learn that in advance than at the door.
